Revolving Door Improves Energy Efficiency

PROBLEM
Maintenance staff at a large hospital were having trouble controlling the interior temperature of the facility near the main entrance.
SOLUTION
DH Pace recommended removing the existing sliding doors entirely. Instead of sliding doors, a 12’ revolving door was installed in the entrance. It turns automatically when motion is detected to allow patients in and out while also helping to control the airflow around the entrance. The temperature remains steady, and patients and staff have easy egress.
